How do I configure my B-box 3 in bridge mode

With this manual, you will be able to put your B-box 3 in bridge mode. It will force the device to only act as a modem, letting you configure PPP connection on your own device connected behind.

Enable bridge mode

  1. Open your web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox,…) and go to the web interface of your B-box 3. By default, it should be reachable on http://192.168.1.1. Identify yourself on the modem with the user password (it’s printed on a label on the rear of the modem).
  2. In the main menu, click Network Connectivity:

Connect your local network

No further configuration of your device is needed. Just connect a network cable from one of LAN ports of your B-box 3 to your internal network. PPP configuration is to be done on the authenticating device.
