Statement edpnet concerning cyber breach

We have found that unauthorized individuals accessed administrative systems at edpnet through a cyber attack.

By responding quickly and adequately, the impact has been restrained to a few administrative systems, and there has been no impact on connectivity services for customers.

We immediately took the necessary steps to secure the systems against further exposure and have initiated an investigation in collaboration with cyber security experts to assist us in addressing the incident. The incident is currently under control, and customers have been informed.

As a result of the incident, customers may temporarily not be able to log in to my edpnet. However, the operation of services to customers has been safeguarded, meaning that customers do not experience any impact on their connectivity.

So far, we have no indication of unauthorized use of potentially obtained information. We take the protection of personal data very seriously. As soon as this incident was discovered, immediate steps were taken to further secure our systems and block further unauthorized access.

Every effort is being made to ensure maximum protection of customer data by installing enhanced protection measures.
