I got charged for roaming, while I haven't called when I was abroad

You came back from your journey, and on your invoice for mobile telephony you see that you've been charged for international calls while you didn't answer the calls and didn't call when you were abroad. 

NOTE! To avoid charges for international calls, we advise you to deactivate your voicemail while you're staying abroad. In case the incoming call is passed to voicemail, in fact, two calls will be charged:

  • incoming call at a roaming tariff (as the call is automatically answered in this case and further transferred to voicemail)
  • outgoing call at a roaming tariff (as the call is transferred to your voicemail in Belgium)
