Provisioning profile: immediately
As soon as the line is activated, an automatically launched TBF applies a provisioning profile to it. If no modem happens to be installed by that moment, TBF will fail, and the line will be configured with so called legacy profile, which corresponds to a profile of a VDSL line connected to the street cabinet with no vectoring support. TBF will need to be manually relaunched. Learn more about TBF.
Maximum profile for your connection: several weeks
Once TBF gets successfully completed, it triggers DLM that will start monitoring the line. From that moment, count about two weeks to see if DLM decides to apply a higher VDSL profile. Keep in mind that even if the result of the evaluation is positive, DLM may not immediately configure the highest possible bit rate. The process is designed in a way that it continues to monitor the line quality, stability and performance after every profile reconfiguration to ensure its quality remains good, so it may take several reconfigurations and further evaluations for DLM to apply maximum speeds.
