Find an answer to your question

Can I choose my VDSL speed profile ...

You can choose your own VDSL speed profile for following subscriptions:

  • Newer & faster / VDSL Pro / VDSL Expert:
A 'high download' speed profile: up to 100 Mbps download speed / 10 Mbps upload speed
A 'high upload' speed profile: 16,5 Mbps download speed / 10 Mbps upload speed
  • Expert Plus:
A 'high download' speed profile: up to 200 Mbps download speed / 20 Mbps upload speed
A 'high upload' speed profile: up to 33 Mbps download speed / 20 Mbps upload speed

The above mentioned speeds are theoretical maximum speeds (actual speeds may be influenced by several factors, such as wiring in your house, location of the modem, ...).

If you choose a 'high download' speed profile, the automated DLM process will be monitoring and testing your line during one week, after activation. Your line will be upgraded after a positive evaluation, depending on all test results. You can find the possible speed profile which you may get after this upgrade below in the table:

The DLM process will continue to monitor and test your line in order to guarantee a stable line and full quality. Be aware that your line may be downgraded after a negative evaluation down to your provisioning profile.

Be aware of the fact that the DLM process is fully automated. It is a dynamic process on the current VDSL network. As an operator, edpnet doesn't have any influence on this process.
